Fix PDF files not opening correctly

Video Tutorial - https://youtu.be/xpCQ6ZezrwI

If you are having trouble opening PDF files, this is probably because Windows has set the default PDF application to Microsoft Edge. This will prevent your PDF files opening correctly as Microsoft Edge cannot handle PDF files as well as Adobe Reader. To change this:

Open the start menu and type 'reader'. You should get Adobe Reader as an option:

Open Adobe Reader and it will ask you if you want to make it the default PDF application. Please be patient as this box can take a minute to appear. Click 'Yes':

On the next screen click 'Continue':

Close the box and Adobe Reader using the X in the top right:

PDF files should now open correctly with Adobe Reader. You always identify this by looking at a PDF file on your computer. If the icon looks like this:

It is set to open with Microsoft Edge.

If the icon looks like this:

It is set to open with Adobe Reader.
